powers to tell, inform, guide or help Branches. The Branch Trustees
must look after their Charity and do what is best for their Charity
within the RBLS Constitution's goals and best practices. More on the

Our Club Committee
Our Club Committee runs and operates the Branch Club which is the
Trading arm of the Branch. We are all volunteers doing the best we
can for the Club and its members. We employ all the staff and have a
duty of care for them within the Employment Law and the Health &
Safety Act.
Branch Trustees
Depending on the individual charity and its legal form,
the charity trustees may be called board members, directors,
management committee members, trustees or whatever is relevant
to the charity. Whatever the terminology used by the charity,
for the purposes of the legislation, the group of people who
manage and control the charity are known as trustees,
Charity trustees must act in the interests of the charity.
Charity Trustees must do what is best for the charity.
Club Committee
The Club Committee run the club as the trading arm of the
Branch. It is in their best interests to make sure the Club is
in profit and does not make a loss. Those members on the Club
Committee are mostly un-trained in operating a Club
professionally but they do the best they can. Anyone can become
a member of the Club Ciommittee, we are always looking for new
younger members to join with new ideas to move us forwards into
the next century.

put off getting in touch with the advisor, he can get things
moving very quickly and will save you a lot of problems later
on.
