We are a registered Charity (SC 030205) in our own right and you may donate to us if you so wish to help our aims and objectives. You may donate in the following ways: By cheque (made out to the Arbroath Branch RBLS) and send to the Treasurer at our address, come into our premises and donate cash or cheque care of our Club Manager or one of our duty Stewards. Gift Aid will be coming shortly, in the mean time check how much the Gift Aid calculator shows you on what we gain with your welcome donations.

A brief guide to Gift Aid

Are you a UK taxpayer who has paid enough tax to cover the amount we will reclaim on your donation? This is equvilente to 25 pence in the pound
This can be in the form of:

• income tax taken from your wages or salary
• tax paid over after filling in a self-assessment form
• taxes paid on savings, a pension plan or investment income
• any capital gains tax paid on the sale of a property or shares etc

If so then we can claim Gift Aid on your donation.

This means that for every you donate, we can claim back an extra 25p from HM Revenue and Customs. We will also be paid another 3p per until 5th April 2011 to provide relief for the fall in basic rate tax.

All you have to do is sign the declaration on the receipt you are given or send us a brief letter explaining that you wish us to Gift Aid your donation.
