The building stays under the wings of the Branch and Charity number. We also help out the best we can with providing venues within the Angus & Arbroath Community for anyone who requires space for any type of event. Some of our customers are as follows: Angus College, Angus Council, Age Concern, Woman's Section R.N.L.I, Bridge Club, Machine Knitting Club Our branch is fortunate to be one of the largest in Angus and we welcome all adult members to our well presented premises. The 2012 elected committee are determined to make this a very positive year for it's members following the successful 2011 outcome. During the year we hope to bring a number of activities in aid of the Poppy Appeal which we hope you will support. Our Welfare team is available for all ex service personnel and their dependencies. Please see 'How can we help you for more information'. We are here to not only help but listen, please do contact us. We are open to suggestions as well and any concerns you may have. Membership can be enjoyed by all, whether service personnel or not you are most welcome to join us.

We your club committee remain totally focused on profitably running the club, unfortunately General trading conditions are still tough and bar sales continue to decline during these difficult times, however due to good management and cost cutting we continue to be profitable, we even managed to absorb the chancellors levy on duty increase again this year keeping the drinks as low as we can possibly afford. Membership is still growing here which still continues to buck the national trend. I believe this is due to all the investments we have made into the club building to keep the club appearance attractive and a very friendly place to frequent. However, attendance figures are really down, especially noted was the Hogmannay dance which was very poorly attended. Since 1940 we have used Scottish & Newcastle now Heineken as our main supplier of draft ales, cider etc. but as from April 8th 2013 our main supplier will be Tennents.
